Obituary for Shirley Lavonne Bieber

Shirley was born on June 1, 1935 to Fred and Alma (Harrison) Bieber. She was born in a two room farm house in Roscoe, South Dakota. Shirley attended a small country school with her brother Aaron.
They traveled to school riding their pet donkey. In 1943 the family moved to Aberdeen, South Dakota. She attended grade school at Henry Neil School in Aberdeen, South Dakota. She graduated from High School in 1953. After graduating Shirley traveled to Chicago, Illinois and moved in with her brother Aaron and her sister-in-law Louise. She eventually moved out on her own and lived in serval girls clubs.
She was employed by the Standard Oil Company in Chicago, Illinois. In 1963 Shirley moved to Minneapolis, Mn. She was employed at Northwestern Bell which was later changed to the Lucent Company. She worked for them until the year 2000, at which time she started work at the Van Wagenen Company in Eden Prairie, Mn. She retired from there in 2013. Shirley loved life. She loved her Savior, she loved her family. She loved her friends, her church, and her Pastor's. She loved being busy and visiting many places. She was always smiling and happy. She touched many lives over her time here with us. Shirley was preceded in death by brother and sister-in-law, Aaron (Lou) Bieber. Survived by niece, Cindy (Martin) Borske; great nephew, Ben (Christine) Piearson & their daughter Riley; great niece, Vanessa Piearson; nephew David (Trish) Bieber.
