Sarah Faith Maomi Loe passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on the evening of January 1, 2021. Born in China with complex congenital heart disease on June 7, 2009, Sarah courageously battled through multiple open heart surgeries and unexpected complications. While in the hospital, she fought bravely, always doing whatever hard things were asked of her so she could go home to be with her family--the place she loved to be most of all.
Our sweet and silly Sarah loved swinging, swimming, playing in the snow, watching Frozen movies, learning to read at school, playing games, and singing worship songs at church.
Sarah is survived by her parents, Mark and Melinda Loe; siblings, Grace, Joshua, Rachael, Olivia, Ethan, and Jaelyn; grandparents, Marvin & Loie Mohn, Sandy Shields, and John & Kathy Loe; aunts, uncles, and cousins, and many other relatives and friends.
The Loe family believes that all children deserve to know the love of a family regardless of medical needs or age and it has been their joy to be Sarah's forever family for three years. If Sarah's life has touched you, please consider adoption.
Funeral service Thursday, 11 AM at Grace Church, 9301 Eden Prairie Rd, Eden Prairie, MN. Visitation one hour prior to service. Please enter church at Door 1. Interment at Zoar Moravian Cemetery, Waconia.
