Obituary for Samuel Nathan "Sam" LeCount
Samuel (Sam) Nathan LeCount, 79, of Eden Prairie died Friday, July 8, 2022, at the Minnesota Masonic Home.
He was born May 4, 1943, to Charles and Lila (Clark) LeCount in Bertha, Minnesota. Sam was united in marriage to Patricia Wickenberg on September 22, 1962, in Bertha. He later married Diane Gaynor on September 1, 1989, in Minneapolis. After graduating from the University of Minnesota, Sam joined IBM, working in Minneapolis and Rochester before joining the startup company SciCom where he attained the role of Vice President and eventually retired.
Survivors include his daughter Nancy (Jim) Stickney of Lakeville; step-children Lynn (Tom) Hudy-Costello of Champlin, Lisa (Glen) Durbahn of Forest Lake, Lori (Chris) Labine of Otsego, and Michael (Amy) Gaynor of Chaplin; fourteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Karen (Gordon) Moller of Bertha; one brother, Charles (Jan) LeCount of Burnsville.
Sam was preceded in death by his father, mother, wife, brother Clark LeCount, and his close companion Prince.
