Bob passed away at Little Hospice in Edina on Saturday, November 26 after a long and fulfilling life. He was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on Oct 5th, 1931 to Earl and Helen Van Voris Berndt. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, his son David and his sister, Donna Saban. Robert is survived by his wife Theresa, 3 sons, Mike (Teri), Greg (Jill) and Bill (Tracey); daughter-in-law, Denice Berndt. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and two great grandchildren. Bob loved his family and his home of 58 years. He was a member of St Therese Catholic Church in Deephaven, Minnesota. Mass of Christian Burial is Thursday, 11 AM, visitation starting at 10 AM all at the church, 18323 Minnetonka Blvd. The family of Bob would like to thank the Hospice care personnel at Park Nicollet. We would also like to thank all of the Hospice care associates at Little Hospice in Edina, Minnesota. Thank you very much for your comforting care of Bob. His family was very happy that he passed peacefully in the care of The Little Hospice.
