Coleman, Randy Jay, of Eden Prairie, was born February 26 in Ypsilanti Michigan and passed away November 8, 2021 at the age of 71. He was preceded in death by his parents Martin and Theda Coleman and one brother. Randy graduated from Karns City high school in PA. He immediately went into the US army and served during the Vietnam War as a sergeant in the infantry. He married Mary Anne Arhart on July 2, 1977. Randy then went to the University of MN and graduated with a BS in engineering. He worked at NSP/Xcel energy Prairie Island Nuclear Plant until retirement. He was an avid Porsche enthusiast, enjoyed many adventures as a Boy Scout leader as well as many trips to the BWCA and participated in time trials at BIR for many years. In addition to working on cars, his other hobbies included shooting sports and motorcycling. Another one of his joys was going to the dog park or napping with his two Westies. He is survived by Mary Anne his wife of 44 years, his sons Sean and Erik, brother Dan and nieces and nephews. Funeral service 11 AM Tuesday Nov. 16, 2021 at Immanuel Lutheran Church 16515 Luther Way, Eden Prairie. Visitation 5-7 PM Monday Nov. 15, 2021 at Huber Funeral Home, 16394 Glory Lane, Eden Prairie, and one hour prior to the service at CHURCH. Interment, Eden Prairie Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Alzheimer Society or American Heart Association.
