Bollig, Peter Jacob Age 30 of Coon Rapids passed away unexpectedly Sunday Dec. 13, 2020. He was preceded in death by grandmothers, Patricia Kerber and Beverly Bollig. He is survived by his wife, Laura; parents, Todd and Harriet Bollig; brother, Kevin (Jessie) Bollig; nephews, Colton & Bryce Bollig; sister, Kelly Forster. He is also survived by his grandparents, Patrick and Ramona Kerber & Kenneth Bollig; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He attended St. Hubert Catholic Grade School and graduated from Holy Family Catholic High School, Victoria, in 2008. He received his BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of St. Thomas in 2013. Peter grew up as an active member of Boy Scouts of America, Troop 479 and received the rank of Eagle Scout. He spent numerous summers as a counselor at Many Point Scout Camp. During his time at St. Thomas, Peter studied abroad in Australia for 5 months. He met his wife, Laura and they were married in 2015 at the Chapel of St. Thomas Aquinas. After graduating from St. Thomas, Peter accepted a job as a Manufacturing Engineer at Boston Scientific Corporation. Throughout his life, Peter enjoyed spending time at his cabin, deer hunting and taking numerous hunting trips with his family. He loved traveling and exploring new places with his wife. Outside of work, you could find Peter on a golf course, camping or at home relaxing with his wife, 2 dogs and a cigar. Mass of Christian Burial, Sat. Dec. 19, 2020 at 11am at St. Hubert Catholic Church, 8201 Main St. Chanhassen (952-934-9106). Visitation Fri. Dec. 18 from 3-7pm at Huber Funeral Home, Eden Prairie Chapel, 16394 Glory Lane, Eden Prairie. Interment St. Hubert Catholic Cemetery, Chanhassen. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
