Mary Alice (Kozel) Robasse, age 96 of Chanhassen formerly of Wabasso. Born March 6, 1925, Montgomery, MN; passed away on Saturday, March 13, 2021. Preceded in death by husband, Edward W. in 1999; parents, William M. And Elsie (Elizabeth Krautkremer) Kozel; brother Robert Kozel and sister Kathryn Juetten. Mary Alice is survived by children Margaret (John) Jenniges, James Robasse, Charles (JoAnn) Robasse, Joan (Carl) Peterson and Patricia (Wayne) Schaffran; 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; brother William (Lila) Kozel.
Baptized, 1st Communion and Confirmation at Church of the Most Holy Redeemer, Montgomery, MN. Attended Holy Redeemer Parochial School and graduated from Montgomery High School in 1942. Attended College of St. Catherine for two years, then Minnesota School of Business. She was employed at the University of Minnesota Audio Visual Education Services. Mary Alice was married to Edward W. Robasse on June 19,1948 at Church of the Most Holy Redeemer, Montgomery, MN. Living in Maple Lake, MN 1948-1953; Montgomery, MN 1953-1966, Wabasso, MN 1966-2012 and Chanhassen 2012 to 2021 while Wintering in Arizona 1982 to 2010. Member of St. Hubert’s Catholic Church in Chanhassen and St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Wabasso, St. Anne’s CCW and American Legion Auxiliary. Mary Alice was actively involved in the Redwood County Historical Society and served as its Treasurer.
