Drake (Malone), Mary passed away at the age of 81. Mary was born in Egan, SD on February 18, 1940 and raised in Sioux Falls, SD where she met Ron, her husband of fifty-five years. They moved to Minneapolis and raised two daughters, Nicole and Ashley. Mary was the oldest of five children and always put her family before herself. She was the best wife, mom, sister and grandma anyone could ask for. Mary was a doting grandmother of four and had no problem bragging about them whenever she had the chance. Mary will be remembered for her selfless nature, intelligence, love of travel (especially Paris), devouring books, political discussions, hard-working nature, sense of style, playing cards and drinking wine with friends. Mary and Ron had the most wonderful marriage and partnership, a true meeting of the minds. We hope they are looking down and proud of the legacy they have created. Mary was preceded in death by Ron and is survived by her loving daughters Nicole Jameson (Scott) and Ashley Gunderson (Pete), her grandchildren Jack and Kat Jameson and Drake and Sydney Gunderson. She is also survived by two sisters, Patricia Foster and Kathryn Mikkelson (John) as well as two brothers Tom Malone (Linda) and Jim Malone (Camille). She is also survived by her beloved grand dogs Lola and Dixie. Ron and Mary's wish was to have their ashes spread in Hilton Head, SC, their second home during MN winters. Mary, you will be remembered and missed every day! No services at this time.
