Obituary for Leslie Brian "Les" Stager

Leslie "Les" Brian Stager, age 57, passed away at 7:20 pm December 11, 2021. He was a loving father, husband, papa, brother, son, and friend. He grew up in Clara City, MN, and was a longtime resident of Eden Prairie. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, his father Henry Joseph Jr., and his daughter Keli Jo. He is survived by his wife and high school sweetheart Karla, his children Leah (Wayne), Ross, Amie, and Kate, his granddaughter Hailey and his grandson Griffin. He is survived by his mother Sharon, his sister Cindy (Gary), sister Pam (John), sister Jamie, brother Jeff (Cari), and many nieces and nephews. Les served as a military police officer. He attended Alexandria Technical & Community College where he got a degree in computer programming and worked in IT. He loved hunting and golfing with his dad, brother, and buddies. Like many Minnesotans, he had a love/hate relationship with the Vikings. He was an avid movie consumer and could often be seen with a cigar in one hand, a Michelob Golden Light in the other, rocking to Def Leppard in front of a bonfire. Per his wishes, no service or arrangements are being made at this time. He wished to be cremated and for his family to spread his ashes on a sunny day somewhere quiet.
