Obituary for Julie Anne Lizak (Snyder)
On Monday, January 4th, 2021, Julie Anne Lizak, loving wife and mother of three children passed away at age 49. Julie was born May 6, 1971 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to David and Kathy Snyder. Julie received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business from St. Mary’s College in South Bend, Indiana in 1993. On October 20th, 2001 she married Christopher Lizak in Chicago, Illinois. They raised three amazing children, Matt, Callie and Michael.
Julie had a passion for entertaining and always created an unparalleled level of gracious hospitality and warmth for all who entered the Lizak home. Her pure kindness, her incredible zest for life and her strong faith were just a few of the many qualities she shared with all of us.
Julie was known and admired for her extraordinary volunteering within the St. Hubert, Holy Family and Benilde St. Margaret communities. She was known for her infectious laugh, radiant smile and compassionate spirit.
Julie was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Kathleen Snyder. She is survived by her father, David Snyder, her husband, Chris, three children, Matt, Callie and Michael, her sister, Lisa Sawyer (Brent), brothers, Brad (Bridgette) and Blake(Lauren) and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Friday, January 8th, 2021 from 3 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Huber Funeral Home, 16394 Glory Lane, Eden Prairie, MN 55344. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 9th, 2021 at 11 a.m. at St. Hubert Catholic Community, 8201 Main Street, Chanhassen, Minnesota 55317.
