John Ronald Klinger
Born May 27,1938, in Catasauqua, PA, passed peacefully on March 20, 2023. Ron was a graduate of Christian Brothers College in St.Louis, MO and the University of Missouri. Ron retired to Minnesota after a long career in the insurance business in Rochester Hills, MI. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed many hunting and fishing trips to Alberta and Saskatchewan. In Minnesota, he was warmly welcomed into the Machtemes Farms hunting group in Montevideo. Ron was preceded in death by his son, David. He is survived by wife, Joan, daughter, Pamela Klinger-Horn (Michael Horn), of Chanhassen, MN, daughter-in-law, Patricia Klinger (David Klinger, deceased) of Edwardsburg, MI, grandchildren, Robert Horn (Naz Khandwala), Richard Horn, all of New York City, Nicholas Klinger (Sarah Tucker) of State College, PA, and Gretchen Klinger, Western Michigan University, great grandsons, Liam and Zayn Horn, and brother Gary Klinger (Sue) of South Carolina. Funeral mass to be held on April 2, at 2:00, at St. Victoria Historic Church, Victoria, MN. Visitation at the church from 1:00 to 2:00.
