Gene Borg (full name Carl Eugene Borg Jr.) died on Oct 10, 2022 in Maple Plain MN at age 95. He is now with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Predeeded in death by his parents (Carl Sr. and Mildred Berg), wives (Sharon Wickoren and Eleanor Brasset-Berglund), sister Corinne (Larsen) and brothers Ken and Doug.
Survived by son Carl III (Caren) Borg of Orono MN, daughter Karen (Jeff) Flanders of Boca Raton FL, grandson Phillip Flanders of Washington, DC, and a number of nieces and nephews, as well as stepchildren Don (Cindy) Berglund of Eden Prairie MN, Marty (Laurie) Berglund of Shamong NJ and Judy (Gary) Anderson of Belgrade MT, many step-grandchildren and several step-great-grandchildren.
The family wants to thank the staff at Open Circle Adult Day Center of Hopkins MN and Haven Homes of Maple Plain MN for the exceptional care they gave him.
His celebration of life service will be at Maple Plain Community Church, 11 AM Monday Nov 28, 2022. He would want any memorial gifts payable to Open Circle Adult Day Center.
