Obituary for Deborah Diane Voss-Grumish (Crawford)
Deborah “Debbie” Diane Voss-Grumish, age 72, of Eden Prairie, passed away peacefully at home on May 27, 2022. She was born on July 18, 1949 to Diane Denise Pickering and William “Jerry” Alfred Crawford.
Deborah had worked as a successful television advertising producer in Chicago, Illinois, at Needham, Harper & Steers agency where she met the love of her life, James “Jim” Allen Grumish. They were married on June 18, 1977, in Winter Park, Florida.
Deborah was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. An avid reader, she enjoyed gathering with friends in her book clubs. Deborah was a longtime gardener, dance mom, band mom, hockey mom, Girl Scouts Troop Leader, and volunteer Art Masterpiece presenter at Eden Prairie schools. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Preceded in death by her mother Diane; step-father Lt. Col. John Voss; as well as baby sister Candace.
Survived by her husband of almost 45 years, James Voss-Grumish; children James (Jackie) and Amanda; grandchildren Zach, Sami, and Jake; brother Kelly Voss (Tina); sisters Tracy Rentz (Bill), Kimberley Voss, and Bridget LaChance (George); half-brother Kyle Crawford (Rhonda); Voss family friend John Shay; as well as many nieces and nephews
Visitation will begin at 4pm with a service at 6pm on Thursday, June 16, 2022, at Huber Funeral Home, 16394 Glory Ln, Eden Prairie, MN 55344.
