Obituary for Carl August Lidstrom
Carl A. Lidstrom "Cal" died suddenly on June16, 2021. He is survived by his loving family: parents, Sue and Carl Lidstrom, sister Sara Lidstrom ( husband Jody), niece Lucy Lidstrom, Aunts Jan Nolan (husband Jim), Elizabeth Haaren ( husband Tom), Ann Rice, Uncle John Shuster( wife Linda), and many cousins and relatives.
Cal was born October 19,1978. He graduated EPHS and Hennepin Technical College. He worked at Target Chanhassen for 23 years and enjoyed living independently in his Chanhassen townhouse. His hobbies included, chess, bowling, coin collecting, video games and his impressive Christmas Village display.
Although Cal had many physical challenges in his life (having survived brain cancer at age 9), he always made the most of his abilities. He enriched our lives and inspired many of us. We were fortunate to have him with us for many years. He will forever be in our hearts. May God keep him in his care.
