Obituary for Ardyce Marie Benson (Norin)
Ardyce M. Benson (Norin) of Chaska formerly of Victoria and Tonka Bay,
passed away 03/16/2023. Ardi was born to Irene and Carl Norin in Minneapolis, MN on 10/06/1932. She married Kerman Benson in June of 1952 and settled in Tonka Bay where they raised their 3 girls. Ardi was very involved with the girls in church, school and social activities. She was also active in her community as a South Lake Minnetonka Police Reserve, Excelsior Fire Dept Auxillary and an active member at Mt Calvary Lutheran Church. She loved her cabin; pontoon rides, fishing, campfires, socializing with the lake friends and the serenity the cabin and the lake provided. She is predeceased by husband Kerman, baby girl Benson, father Carl Norin, Mother Irene and Stepfather William Burger, and Nephews Brad Norin and Noah Huffman. She is survived by daughters Wendy Roser, Laurie Benson, Deb (Mark) Erickson, siblings, Nancy Patton and Donald (Sandy) Norin, Grandchildren Brad Benson-Taylor, Luanne Benson-Lender (Scott Dial), Leah Storch (Kyle), Chad Erickson (Katie), Christa Erickson (Reid) and Great Granddaughter Ella. Memorial Service Friday, April 21, 2023 at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, 301 County Road 19, Excelsior, MN 55331. Service at 11:00, visitation 1 hour prior and luncheon following. Inurnment at the church. Memorials preferred: Ridgeview Hospice, South Lake PD crime fund or animal rescue of donor’s choice
