Zembrycki, Edward Allen Age 78, of Excelsior, peacefully went to be with the Lord on Oct. 8, 2018. Ed was born in Minneapolis, MN on December 19, 1939 and was raised in Excelsior. He graduated a star athlete from Minnetonka High school in 1957. Afterwards he attended barber school to work alongside his dad for over 25 years, barbering for 60 years in total at Tony's Barber Shop in Excelsior. Jan 6, 1979 Ed married Sharann and was blessed with 3 daughters. A devoted family man, his extended family truly meant the world to him. He had a passion for hunting and fishing with his dad and many close friends. He was a loving father, dedicated husband and a pillar of the Excelsior community. Preceded in death by parents, Tony and Esther Zembrycki and niece, Danielle Poirier. Survived by wife of 39 years, Sharann; beloved daughters, Angela, Kristy (Josh Pitts), and Megan Zembrycki; along with all their miniature dachshunds. Cherished sister, Marlys (Fran Stein) Poirier; niece, Kristina (Keith) Anderson; and nephew, Troy (Carrie) Poirier. He will also be lovingly remembered by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends, and all who knew him. Visitation at Minnewashta Church 26710 West 62nd Street, Excelsior, MN 55331, Friday Oct. 12, 4-8pm. Funeral Service at Minnewashta Church, Saturday Oct 13 at 1pm.
