Sebald, Mary Jane (Best) Age 83 of Eden Prairie, she passed away, July 6, 2018, peacefully and surrounded by family. A loving and supportive wife, actively involved mother, award winning cook, incredible seamstress, knitter and quilter, she was the clear winner of the "She who dies with the most fabric wins" award. Preceded in death by husband, Eugene Myles; parents, Jay Phillip and Caroline Margaret (Capretz) Best; siblings, Jay Best, Shirley Wheeler, William Best. Mary was born in Austin, MN. Gene and Mary met and married while at the University of Minnesota. After military service, they settled in Minnetonka, MN and raised five children. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Survived by sister Muryce Fossey; children, Peter (Nanci), Joel (Renie), Betse (David) Johnson, John (Rene) and Chris (Gretchen); grandchildren, Micca (Scott) Evans, Kate (Ryan) Rondorf, Tricia, Amanda, Cole (Heather), Martha, Miles, Hayden, Andrew, Hannah, Claire, Jack & Grace Sebald, Sam and Daisy Johnson; great-grandchildren, Lakin and Ryckert Cole, Emmelin and Everly Rondorf; many other relatives and friends. Visitation Wednesday, July 11, 5-8 PM Huber Funeral Home 16394 Glory Lane, Eden Prairie, MN 55344. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Private celebration of life.
