Westman, Roger Emanuel, age 93, of Excelsior, Minnesota, passed away on June 5, 2018. Roger was born in Excelsior, MN to Morris and Freda Westman in 1925. He married Dorothy his childhood sweetheart in 1951. They spent 63 wonderful years together and raised four children. He was an incredible husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Roger was a graduate of Excelsior High and the University of Minnesota, a World War II veteran, member of the Northwestern Bell/AT&T team for 40 years, loved gardening and helping everyone. Roger was proceeded in death by his parents Morris and Freda Westman, brother Morris Westman and his loving Wife Dorothy. Roger is survived by his four Children, Terry VanValkenburg, Don Westman (Denise), Marla Johnson and Tom Westman (Julie), nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Memorial Service Tuesday June 26 at 11:00 AM at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, 301 County Rd 19, Excelsior, MN. Gathering of family and friends will take place for one hour prior to the service at the church. Lunch will follow the service. Private family interment at Oak Hill Cemetery, Excelsior. Memorials may be given to the Gillespie Center, 2590 Commerce Blvd, Mound, MN 55364.
