Dorothy Florraine Buteyn, nee Slagter, age 82, of Eden Prairie, MN joined her Heavenly Father on April 30, 2018. Preceded in death by her husband, Don; grandson, Nathaniel David Kromminga; parents, Fred and Dena; siblings, Alice (Harold) Van Den Einde, Henry (Regina), Norman (Ruth), Garrett, and Leona (Henry) Bulthuis. Survived by her children, Mary Ellen Buteyn (David Kromminga), Robert J (former spouse Carol), and Elizabeth Buteyn (Dean) Van Hoever; beloved grandchildren, Margaret Ariadne & Abigail Dorothea Kromminga, John Robert (Kendra) Buteyn & Jean Marie (Andrew) Johnson; Benjamin John & Caroline Grace Van Hoever; great granddaughter Buteyn & great granddaughter Johnson; sisters-in-law, Janet Slagter, Florence Kastein, Joyce Buteyn, Joyce (Gene) Schripsema; many nephews and nieces; other relatives and friends. Special thanks to helpers and friends Joyce, Linda, and John. Dorothy was a long-time employee of Bloomington Target (T5). We love you Mom! Funeral service Thursday, May 10 at 11:00AM at Christ Presbyterian Church, 6901 Normandale Rd, Edina, with a visitation beginning at 10:00AM. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
