Moynihan, Dolores F., age 93, died on April 13, 2018 at her home in Plymouth, Minnesota. Born and raised in San Francisco on June 3, 1924, Dolores lived in San Bruno and San Mateo County, CA., for 63 years, before moving to Minnesota in 2014. Beloved wife of James “Jimmy” Farrell (1924 - 1944) for 3 months and beloved wife of Martin J. Moynihan (September 14, 1919 - April 13, 2003) for 57 years. Loving mother of Patricia Costello (husband, Michael) and Marty Moynihan. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer Costello Brezina (husband, Dee), Kathleen Costello Nicholls, Patrick Costello (wife, Samantha), Elizabeth Costello, Megan Costello and Kimberly Moynihan (fiancé, Mark). Also, survived by her 4 great grandchildren (Reagan, Ashley, Tim & Joe), her sister, Irene Welton, nieces & nephews, cousins, and extended family in California and New York. A graduate of St. Paul’s Elementary School & Mission High School in San Francisco. A member and active volunteer of Saint Robert's Parish in San Bruno, California for 63 years, past president of YLI, and a retiree of United Air Lines. Dolores was a resident in memory care communities in Minnesota during the last 4 years of her life. Our family will be forever grateful for her caregivers, activity teams and medical professionals who extended mom’s life by their daily care and comfort. Family and Friends are invited to a memorial service at St. Joseph’s Little Church, 13015 Rockford Road, Plymouth, MN 55441 on Friday, April 20th at 7 pm. Reception to follow. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Robert’s in San Bruno, California on April 27th at 10:30 a.m. with burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Colma, Ca. where she will join her husband, Martin. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, her family prefers donations to The Interim Hospice Foundation, 2680 Arthur Street, Roseville, MN 55113 or The Minnesota Chapter of Alzheimer’s Association, www.alz.org.
