Carol Marold, age 73 of Edina, passed away April 5, 2018. Proceeded in death by husband, Bob Marold and parents, Edfried and Ella Dinse. Survived by sons, Rob (Jennifer) Marold, Craig Marold, grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Matthew, sisters, Joyce (Warren) Krumwiede, Marge (Jack) Burrell and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. Carol was born in Waseca on March 4, 1945. She lived on the family farm, west of Owatonna until high school graduation. She attended Mankato State University, and moved to Chisholm, Minnesota to teach in Chisholm Public Schools shortly after. There she met her husband, Bob, and they resided in Buhl until his death in 2012. Carol was a teacher for Chisholm Public Schools for thirty years. Shortly after retirement in 1999, she was hired at Herbergers in Virginia and worked there until 2012. Carol loved her family and spending time with her sons, daughter-in-law, and grandkids. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, and playing board games and cards with her friends at Vernon Terrace in Edina. Memorial service is 11 AM Friday, April 13 at Huber Funeral Home in Eden Prairie, with visitation starting at 10 AM. Interment Lakeview Cemetery, Buhl, MN. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the American Diabetes Association.
