Muriel Clara Reinitz, nee Schmidt, age 95, of Mound, passed away January 27, 2018. She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Fred Reinitz; parents, Rose and Albert Schmidt; sister, Millie Swanson; brothers, Earl, Lavin, and Jimmy Schmidt; and daughter-in-law, Terri Reinitz. She is survived by her son, H. Joel Reinitz (Evelin Knorr); daughter, Memory R. Reinitz; grandchildren, Nathanael (Ann), Matthew, Amanda, and Andrew (Sarah) Reinitz; great grandchildren, Jordan Reinitz, Kyle and Kristina Zacrep, Isaiah and Willow Reinitz, and Annabelle and Emmeline Reinitz; as well as many other loving relatives and friends. Muriel was an active member at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be missed. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 1 at Mt. Olive Lutheran, 5218 Bartlett Blvd, Mound, at 11:00AM with a visitation one hour prior. Interment at Fairview Cemetery.
