McCormick, Duane E. "Pat" of Excelsior, MN passed away surrounded by his family on Thursday Oct 12, 2017 at the age of 77. He was born February 8, 1940 in Monticello, MN. Preceded in death by his parents, Clayton and Gladys McCormick, and son, Curtis. Survived by his wife of 33 years, Alice; sons and daughters-in-law, Doyle and Christina, Rodney and Kristen, and Mary Ellen; five grandchildren, Josh (Andrea), Taylor, Addison, Charlie, and Parker, and one great granddaughter, Scarlett; brothers, Don and Doug (Karen). Duane spent almost his entire career as a food broker with Sales Force Companies. He retired in 1998 as the Chairman. In his leisure time, Duane loved to hunt, fish, and golf. He had an immense passion for boating and found great pleasure in finding the next boat to captain. First and foremost, he loved his family, and reveled in spending time with them. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the Lewy Body Dementia Association. A very special thanks to the Stevens family and all of the exceptional staff at the Beehive Homes of Excelsior. We are so grateful for the love, grace, and impeccable care you gave to Duane each and every day. A Visitation will take place on Thursday, October 19, 2017 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Huber Funeral Home, 520 Second Street, Excelsior, MN. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 20, 2017 at 2:00 PM with visitation starting an hour prior to the service at Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church, 680 Mill Street, Exc
