Sally Ann Rhylick Turkowski, of Mound, MN, age 60, passed away in the early morning hours of September 3, 2017 after a short but valiant battle with cancer. Sally was born on January 4, 1957 in Kansas City, Missouri. Sally grew up in Mound, Minnesota and graduated from Mound High School in 1975. Sally loved the outdoors and enjoyed boating, golfing, traveling, spending time with friends, and motorcycle rides with her love and best friend, Bob Turkowski. Sally and Bob were together for 29 years before they officially tied the knot on August 19, 2017. Sally was a dedicated and longtime employee of King Solutions where she was proud to hold the title of first employee. Sally is preceded in death by her mother, Eve Rhylick. Sally is survived by her husband, Bob Turkowski, bonus children, Ray Turkowski, Barbie Smith (Anthony), five bonus grandchildren and one bonus great grandchild; Sally also leaves behind her loving and adoring niece, Katie Miceli (Russ) and great niece and nephew, Emily and Justin, as well as her sisters Sue Halloran (Dennis) and Mary Knopik (Tim), not to mention many, many friends. Sally will be missed for her quick wit, sharp sense of humor, and her love of being with friends and living life to the fullest. Sally will be missed greatly but never forgotten. A memorial service is planned for Saturday, September 16, 2017 from 11-1 at Huber Funeral Home in Mound. If you have a special picture of Sally to share, please bring it and add it to the photo board.
