Ernest Dale "Dale"  Linnenkamp
Linnenkamp, Ernest "Dale" 88, two-stepped his way into heaven on August 5th, 2017. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Darla (Brunner) Linnenkamp; his son Mike (Marilyn) Linnenkamp, his daughter Lori (Bob) Hill and his sister Deloris Doyle. Dale's step children - Deon Schnichels, Delene (Mike) Brown, Dallen (Barb) Schnichels, Darren (Deb) Schnichels, and Dean (Sue) Schnichels. Dale enjoyed 19 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Dale was born on July 7th, 1929, in Mason City, Iowa. Dale went to Junior college from 1947 to 1949 and then joined the military in 1950. Dale proudly served from 1950-1952. Following the Military Dale joined the US postal service where he worked for 25 years, where he diligently delivered mail via rail road for MN, NE, and IA until his retirement in 1986. His interests included: having a hobby farm, tree farm, driving his tractor, raising Appaloosa horses, rolling pigeons, raising & selling German shepherds, chopping and selling firewood. All of these interests had one thing in common, working hard. That was Dale. A hard worker. Dale is preceded in death by his father Ernest Linnenkamp, mother Margaret Linnenkamp, wife Marlyce Linnenkamp, and his brother-in-law Maurice Doyle. In lieu of flowers, the family would like to suggest a tree to be planted in Memory of Dale. alivingtribute.org. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at 12:00 Noon at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 2385 Commerce Blvd., Mound, MN (952-472-1284).
