Thomas John Forystek, Sr., age 73, of Mound, passed away April 8th, 2017. He is preceded in death by parents, Walter and Elizabeth; ex-wife, Mary Kay Valley; and brother in law, Don Fleigle. He is survived by children, Thomas John "T.J." Forystek, Jr., Nicholas Forystek, Troy Forystek, Scott (Rojean) Forystek, Heather (Ron) Boecker; grandchildren, Justin and Jennifer Boecker, Brian and Janelle Forystek; great grandchildren, Gavin, Tenley and Grayson Boecker, Bentley Schlief; siblings, Elaine Fleigle, James "Jase" Forystek, Monica (Ron) Sirek; nieces, nephews and family friends. Shout out to all of his lunch buddies that kept him company in his retired years. Tom, a.k.a "Rat", helped many people fix anything and volunteered his time to help elderly in the community. He spoke fondly of his years rocking with Gypsy. A memorial service will be held Monday, April 17 at 2pm at Huber Funeral Home (1801 Commerce Blvd, Mound) with a visitation beginning at 1pm.
